Women’s Participation in Political Processes at the Local Level

The Women’s NGO Forum of Kyrgyzstan meets the April 2021 elections to the ayil keneshes with energy and conviction in the readiness of rural women to actively compete for parliamentary seats. The Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD) for the UNECE region will begin its work on March 10 and continue until March 18. This year’s RFSD will be held in an online format. Registration deadline is March 12, 2021.

In the framework of the UNECE Regional Forum on SDGs in the online format, the Women’s NGO Forum of Kyrgyzstan in partnership with civil society organizations from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Russia is holding a parallel session on “Follow-up activities after the first DNOs in Eastern Europe and Central Asia”. The parallel session will take place online on March 11 at 9:00 – 10:30 CET.
