65th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women

The Forum of Women’s NGOs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as an NGO with consultative status in UN ECOSOC, held its parallel session “Increasing Women’s Participation in Local Decision-Making” on March 18, 2021.

In 2021, the CSW will take place entirely on a virtual platform from March 14-27, 2021.

Priority theme: women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life and ending violence to achieve gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls. Review theme: Women’s empowerment and the link to sustainable development (agreed conclusions of the sixtieth session).
