The Forum of Women’s NGOs of Kyrgyzstan initiated and supported the modernization of the Kaidabaram.kg website under the project “Strengthening the capacity of civil society to provide protection and support to women at risk and victims of domestic violence in Central Asia”. The Kaidabaram.kg website has become the leading Kyrgyz-language information resource on domestic violence and its prevention. The site was modernized by the Public Foundation “WE”.
The updated content and structure of the site provides information on domestic violence taking into account current trends and best practices. Thematic coverage was expanded and quality content was created. Introduced tools to assist victims of violence: referral forms, contacts and services of Crisis Centers, to provide more effective and prompt assistance to victims of violence. Ensured that these tools are easy and accessible to improve user interaction with the resource.
A safe community has been created, as functionality has been implemented to allow users to share their stories anonymously. It also provides a place for participants to interact, share support and experiences, and connect with survivors.
